Green building consulting built on field-verified expertise

LinkedEfficiency has deep expertise in new and existing multifamily properties. Based in Richmond, Virginia, we specialize in buildings across the Mid-Atlantic and are well-versed in the challenges of building in our climate zones: the humidity, the mixed-humid code requirements, and the ventilation and moisture issues that come with them.

How we work

We stay on the project from pro forma to closeout

Most rating firms are brought in at the end to run a blower door and sign a form. That's a narrow role, and it means problems surface when they're most expensive to fix.

Early, at the drawing level

We review mechanical and plumbing construction documents for coordination gaps, specification accuracy, and design-revision pickup, while there's still time to change them.

Analysis, not rules of thumb

Iterative energy modeling backs value engineering decisions with numbers. Manual J / S / D produces right-sized equipment instead of oversized defaults.

Through to closeout

Mid-construction inspections, informational testing early enough to fix problems, code-compliance testing, and post-construction certification documentation.

Service area

Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic

We primarily serve the Richmond metro area and Charlottesville, with projects across Virginia and neighboring states. Regional focus means we know the utility programs and the issues specific to building here: climate zone 4A across most of the state, and climate zone 3A in the Virginia Beach area.
